Technology is a tool though which we can create meaningful, innovative, useful and exciting tasks for our students. However, technology in and of itself:
- does NOT lead to an attainable objective
- does NOT require students to focus on a meaningful exchange of information
- does NOT require comprehension, manipulation, and production of the target language
- does NOT encompass expression, interpretation and negotiation of meaning.
- does NOT promote meaningful communication
Therefore, technology in and of itself is NOT a task!
