PREVIOUS PAGE and answer the question(s) in order to gain the most from this exercise.
An effective technology-based task should have clear learning objectives, provide the learner with context, and establish clear navigational aids. In addition, learners should be required to do something with the information they have acquired. What navigational aids will the learners find useful? What instructions should you provide in order to carry out the activity efficiently and effectively?
- Engage learners in verbal exchange of the information gathered (peer survey, partner interview).
- Draw generalizations, see what trends exist in the class, compare their responses with their partner, etc.
- Target language should be the means of achieving some ultimate purpose.
