The following checklists were developed by the Joint ADL Co-Lab for the purpose of evaluating instructional web sites.

  1. A solid, consistent, and simple contrast is created between foreground and background.

  3. Bold, highly saturated primary colors are avoided except in regions of maximum emphasis, and even there they are used cautiously.
